托福听力模拟情景对话

    备考托福的同学们都知道,每篇Conversation都是一男一女在对话,聊的话题多集中在学术论文、图书馆、课程注册或是校园生活类的场景。虽然场景不同会带来词汇、句子内容上的一些变化,但是基本上来说Conversation是有很明确的“套路”的。大家有没有发现,每当两人对话的时候,聊到另外的一个“别人”或者一些“别人”,经常会在这个地方出一道题。最常见的“别人”无外乎某个老师(Professor/Teacher)、某个导师(Advisor/Chair/Instructor)、同学朋友(classmate/roommate/friend/student)、甚至某个家人(Parents/Brother/Cousin)等等。
    这样的情境下考试经常会出一道题:
    Why does the professor mention/discuss/introduce XXX?
    所以,当我们听Conversation听到了“第三者”(指任何一个或几个出现在听力段子中男女主角之外的人物,大多由男女主角自己提起。),不能轻易忽略,一定要用心听清楚当时聊的是什么,能用很少的词把这个例子涉及到的话题简单记下来。

    通过以上三个例子,大家不难发现,但凡听力段子中提到了“第三个人”,一般来说是考点,不然人家为什么要提到这个人呢?提到一个不相关的人,必然有其目的,所以在以后的听力训练中,如果听到了“第三者”,请同学们在你的笔记中,记上一笔,人名以首字母的形式写出即可,在记一些关于这个人的信息,他的身份,他的主张等与此听力段子主题相关的话。但是不用特别详细,记点即可。这样在做题的时候,当出现与此人相关的考题,大家就不会出现猜答案的现象了。
