一些人人认为所有的罪犯应该被送去牢里，然而其他人认为对于那些犯罪比较轻的人，其他的惩罚手段比如让他们去做社区服务是更好的选择。讨论双边并且给出自己的看法。
大作文考察的是犯罪类的文章。对于双边导论的题目，结构还是比较清楚的。站在双方的立场上分别阐述理由并且给出自己的看法即可。对于甲方，大家可以说这个可以起到很强的震慑作用act as a strong deterrent， 在一定程度上可以降低犯罪率，人们会应该害怕失去自由而不敢犯罪。对于乙方的观点，可以解释说，这样的惩罚措施更有教育意义，通过劳动，可以让罪犯知道自己的一些违法行为给社会造成的消极影响，时间和精力的投入可能会让他们反思自己的违法行为，在未来避免做出类似行为。最后再给出自己的观点即可。
